Meal Cards
To participate in the meal plan you must have your student ID. No exceptions will be made.

Lost Your Meal Card
Lost or stolen meal cards can be replaced. Should this happen to you, see your director of housing and residence life.

Dietary Requirements & Sick Trays
Do you have particular dietary needs? No problem! Our
campus dining services program can accommodate your special dietary requirements. For more information, please contact Ritch Matthews.

Sick trays are also available for students that have purchased a meal plan. If you are feeling under the weather and would like to order a sick tray, call Ritch Matthews 864-576-9510.

Dining Policies & Procedures
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean,
comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order
to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the
following procedures:

  • Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when you have finished dining.
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
  • Must have Student ID or cash to eat.
  • The use of another students ID card is prohibited and that card will be confiscated and can be purchased from the Dining Services for a fee of $5.00.

Campus Dining Meal Plans

Our meals are offered with unlimited seconds. Choosing a balanced meal from the many options SMC Dining offers gives you a terrific value.

Students who live on-campus are required to have a meal plan and are automatically enrolled in the Carte Blanche Plan.

Carte Blanche
Provides UNLIMITED access to the dining hall for
all-you-care-to- eat meals and snacks from 7:30 am to 9:00
pm throughout the week and designated meal times on
weekends.

17 Meals with 100 Flex Dollars
You can enter the dining hall as many times as you like throughout the
day even if it's just to get a drink or snack.

Faculty and Staff
Faculty & Staff can enjoy discounts off the door rate with a purchase of Pioneer Points.

Commuter
Never have to worry about carrying cash again by adding Pioneer Points to your student ID Card.

Pioneer Points
Pioneer Points work just like a checking account. You deposit money into your account and charges are automatically deducted.

  • Pioneer Points can be added to your account with a minimum initial payment of $50. Students may add additional money to their account in increments of $25.
  • Pioneer Points can be used at the Dining Hall and the Bookstore (Yes, the bookstore!).

Contact the Business Office to add Pioneer Points to your account! Pioneer Points earn you savings.
